Uninspired
Frankly the fake façade feathered his fairytale,
but he bastely boasted brilliance over flaggoned ale,
“Damn queer sisters be running amok
as I did see them riding the great big buck.”
He spoke rabbit quickly though his thoughts were snail.
“They done stole’d it they did.” He said without fail
and smashed the flagon for the coffin’s umpteenth nail,
then shamelessly bottled a burp and itched his cock.
The fake façade feathered his fairytale.
Smoldering silence engulfed the two, stale
air surrounded them, until she shouted to no avail,
“Bloody liar you are, they no stole my duck.”
Failure reddened his face sour with replied “Fuck.”
He left the inn with shame spiking him like hail.
The fake façade feathered his fairytale.

Proposal: FearDrug
Materials Needed:
LCD Projector
Trench Coat
Nails
Laptop
Hallway
Project:
The trench coat will be set up in a hallway spread open, I will draw manually features including hands holding the coat open and a head to the trench coat. He will take on the appearance of a drug dealer showing product, which will include various news stations and programs that are targeted toward fear.
Concept:
We watch the news and besides the heart jerker stories, frankly the news contains scary material. It could possibly be one of the only legal drugs that people abuse. Or in the setting I put it in, it questions the source we view the news in. Would we trust the news as much as we would trust a trenched person on the street?

Don Hertzfeldt
“Dark comedy is the most intelligent kind of comedy.” -Don Hertzfeldt in an interview with a French TV station.
In watching a Hertzfeldt short I am usually overcome with joy and happiness. Upon watching almost any of his films for the first time I am breaking out in hysterical laughter. But when I watch his work after the initial laugh bomb I notice what makes him such an amazing artist. It is the way he tells a story through the use of characters that are not always people. The paper he uses to draw the characters on seem to take on a personality of their own. There are several methods he uses in his work that just beam Hertzfeldt. His stories are abstract and definitely violent, but they are just amazing and spontaneous. He is simple yet extravagant.
